Who Is Organizing Lives?
Independently owned and operated by Sandra Wright and Kim Fleming, Organizing Lives became a reality when both dynamic women realized that their second-nature talents needed to be shared. It takes more than strong organizational skills to be successful in this business. Acknowledging that possessions are tied heavily to emotion, Kim and Sandra both possess qualities that clients find easy to relate to. They are sensitive, non-judgemental, and empathetic. The Organizing Lives' approach to business is highly participative, design-integrated, and provides customer-focused solutions. Sandra and Kim are both graduates of the Ontario Academy of Trade's "Organizing and De-cluttering Course".
Sandra’s belief in Organizing Lives started prior to the conception of the business. "As long as people continue to pursue life speeding at high gear, accumulating possessions along the way, the services of a Professional Organizer will always be in high demand." Sandra resides in Oshawa with her husband, and has been streamlining retail environments and simplifying the lives of those around her for many years. She thoroughly understands the processes and challenges of disorganization and has the ability to create workable solutions to promote productivity. Twenty years of retail management and training behind her, Sandra brings with her a natural inclination to be "super organized", a unique ability to conceptualize, to see beyond the clutter and turn disorder and confusion into simple and effective solutions tailored to the needs of the client.
Kim, a busy mother and homeowner who resides in Pickering with her husband and grown children, knows how challenging it can be to stay on top of everyday life. Being a veteran of 11 moves in 22 years allows Kim to understand the stress that individuals and families under stress and time constraints feel. With over two decades of sales, design, décor and customer service behind her, Kim saw the need to create functional and simple organizing systems for her clients. She has been a volunteer with Hospice Durham since 2000, supporting families who are faced with a life threatening illness. Her innate ability to help others has led her on a journey to reap the benefits and awards of living and working in an organized environment, culminating in Organizing Lives. Kim’s signature on any undertaking is her personal assurance guaranteeing quality, efficiency, dedication and creativity.
